On 13 September 2017, the Carinthian Business Development Agency BABEG and ABA-Invest invited guests to their location presentation on ‘Austria and Carinthia for Beginners’. Slovenian companies interested in pursuing internationalisation were able to learn more about the advantages of Austria as a location for foreign companies as part of this professional seminar. Particular emphasis was placed on Carinthia as a research location. Two entrepreneurs Aleksander and Martin Kopac offered practical insight into the issue. Both come from Slovenia and recently founded the companies AlpVent and Advanced SL in Carinthia. The two entrepreneurs clearly explained their experiences of this process.

Following the talks, the approx. 40 participants had the chance to exchange ideas with experts from Austria and Carinthia and the two testimonial entrepreneurs.

The event was held in cooperation with the Celje Foreign Trade Centre.
