build! supports new companies with an academic background before their product is ultimately launched. The business incubator evaluates business ideas, helps to create business plans and specify the innovative components of an idea.

Mentoring and collaboration

With its supports programmes and mentors, build! promotes entrepreneurial thinking with Carinthian students and budding entrepreneurs using existing knowledge. In Carinthia we do not talk about the collaboration of Carinthian companies, scientific institutions and non-university research laboratories – we live it.

Business connectors and advisors

build! connects partners and companies with Carinthian research institutions and entrepreneurs with tax advisors and patent lawyers. External consultants advise sole traders and evaluate business ideas. When this first hurdle is cleared, then build! provides these successful start-ups with office spaces at the Lakeside Park in Klagenfurt or the HighTech Campus in Villach.

The team of the business incubator build! has accompanied 73 budding entrepreneurs for 18 months as they took their first steps into the freelance world.

Business incubator build! is a member of the Austrian Academia plus Business Programme (AplusB), Austria’s incubator network.
